
The Governor of the Mexican State of Jalisco, Aristóteles Sandoval, has extended an invitation to Consuls General, Honorary Consuls and other guests including NGIN President Fred Walti in Los Angeles to visit his state and the city of Guadalajara from March 15th to March 18th, 2018.
The state of Jalisco is the cradle of many of the Mexican traditions that are known worldwide, such as mariachi and tequila. Jalisco is also one of the states in Mexico that has a very important economy, and is the most relevant center of technological development and innovation in Latin America. The state capital, Guadalajara, is known as the Mexican “Silicon Valley”, and is home to prominent companies like IBM, Motorola, Oracle, HP, Intel and Flextronics, to name just some.
The trip will include a cultural and historical visit to the town of Tequila, where the Mexican national drink is original from, located 60 kilometers from Guadalajara.
