Kevin Braithwaite

Kevin works closely with international agencies, governments, investors, corporations and universities to support emerging cleantech ventures around the world. He has supported the creation, launch and growth of accelerators, incubators, innovation challenges and competitions in both developed and developing economies across 6 continents. Since 2011, he has been an advisor to the Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP), a global cleantech accelerator led by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) focused on emerging and developing countries, which, to date, has supported over 1,000 cleantech startups across 9 countries.  Previously, Kevin was the Vice President of Global Programs for the Cleantech Open and an advisor to international public and private sector ventures. He has co-founded and built a number of companies, encompassing both service and product-based ventures in multiple technology sectors. Mr. Braithwaite holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and resides in Washington D.C.
