5X Job Creation Model

NGIN developed the 5x job creation model for accelerated economic growth for cities. It is based on the success of the creation of the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, which ignited the green economy in Los Angeles, one of the largest in the US.

The NGIN model is based on “The New Geography of Jobs” by Economist Enrico Moretti at the University of California at Berkeley.

This model diagrams the range of jobs that are created to support a growing innovation business in a city. Each layer of new job creation build the tax base and environmental resiliency of the city in which they’re created.
