In collaboration with the Cleantech Open, NGIN lead and hosted a Design Thinking and Storytelling Workshop prior to the Global Forum. This visionary group of Cleantech entrepreneurs from Germany  and New York all came away with a refined elevator pitch and a certificate of completion of the course.

This four step, all-day workshop was created to reveal the value a company’s innovation offers to the world, enable founders to see their company’s unique purpose in new ways, and prepare them to inform the decision process of customers and investors.

In October 2017, LACI welcomed a delegation of two cleantech companies from Finland for a week-long exchange program. The Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation (TEKES), a publicly funded expert organization for financing research, development, and innovation in Finland, selected these companies to participate in workshops and lectures led by LACI’s Executives in Residence (EIR’s), specialists, and partner organizations.

The mission and objective of the Trade Tour was to teach companies about how to do business in Mexico and with whom, and included personally matching and introductions to potential partners and customers.
